Who Dormer Pramet are
Dormer started in 1913 in Sheffield (United Kingdom) and became a byword for solid round tools, especially high-speed steel (HSS) drills. Pramet, founded in Šumperk (Czech Republic), brought deep expertise in indexable tooling for heavy industries. In 2024 the two brands came together under the global Dormer Pramet brand, part of the Sandvik group: turning, milling, threading and holemaking, all under one roof.
