What data we process and why
Contact form and quote requests
Your name, email address and/or phone number, company, subject and message, plus the IP address the form was sent from. We use them to answer you and prepare the quote you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, steps prior to a contract). We use the IP address only to limit abusive submissions (legitimate interest, Art. 6(1)(f)). We keep this data for 3 years from our last correspondence with you, then delete it.
Newsletter
Your email address and, if you give it, your name. We send you Dormer Pramet news and HTS Tools offers based on your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)). You can unsubscribe at any time from the link in every message. After you unsubscribe we keep only the address marked as unsubscribed, so we do not write to you again.
Your cookie choice
When you choose which cookies you accept, we record the choice, the date, your IP address and browser type. We need this record to prove the consent we received (Art. 7(1) and Art. 6(1)(c)). We keep it for 1 year.
Visit statistics
Only if you accept the “Statistics” category: the page opened, the page you came from and a random session code kept in your browser until you close the tab. We do not store your IP address and we do not use external analytics services. Details in the cookie policy.
Server logs
The server automatically records the IP address, date, requested page and browser type for every request. We use them for the security of the site (legitimate interest) and they are deleted automatically after 10 days.
Who we share data with
We do not sell or rent personal data. Only as far as needed, the company that hosts and maintains the site and the email provider have access to it, as processors under contract. We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.
If a provider processes data outside the European Economic Area, it does so only with the safeguards required by the GDPR (a European Commission adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses). The site fonts are loaded from our own server, not from third parties.
Your rights
- to find out what data we hold about you and get a copy;
- to ask for it to be corrected or deleted;
- to ask for processing to be restricted or to object to processing based on legitimate interest;
- to receive the data in a format that can be passed to another controller;
- to withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before.
Write to us at the email address above and we will answer within one month at most. If you are not satisfied with the answer, you can lodge a complaint with the Romanian data protection authority (ANSPDCP), www.dataprotection.ro.
Security
The site uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Only the people who handle your requests have access to the data received through the forms.
